This dock has found a new home.
Cheryl Willis is getting rid of her dock and a couple of ramps, free for the taking (pictured at left). The dock used to belong to Tim & Brenda Robbins, she bought their place about a year ago. For those of you who don’t know where that is, it’s two places north of the State boat launch down at the east end of the lake. If you want the dock, go get it!
The Clary Lake Association is making another foray into the world of online retailing and to that end we’ve set up a simple shopping cart system using Paypal as our payment processor. While it isn’t the world’s most sophisticated shopping cart system, it works and should serve our purposes well for the time being. It should be self explanatory and problem-free, but if you have any questions or issues with it, please contact the Webmaster.
To start out, we’d like to sell the last of these classic We Give A Dam! tee shirts! There won’t be any more of these! We had a dozen made for the 2019 Whitefield Fourth of July parade and people said they wanted to be able to buy some, so we ordered a bunch. Most of them were sold last summer at the Ice Cream Social and the Annual meeting. We still have a few of these classic tee shirts left (in several sizes) that we’d like to sell. You can have any color you want as long as it’s BLUE! A few of our original Clary Lake Association Sweat Shirts have turned up as well and we’d like to sell them too. We’re already getting to work on some new products for the upcoming year. We’ll be starting out with tee shirts again but are also planning on offering CLA hats, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, etc. Stay tuned.
40 Enos Lane, Jefferson Maine
According to recently posted real estate listings on the Zillow Real Estate site and at the Trulia Real Estate site, the price on the Arthur Enos home and property on Clary Lake has been reduced from the original summer 2014 asking price of $875,000 to a more reasonable but still breathtaking $765,000. The real estate listings include a bunch of recently taken pictures. So much for Art’s “I don’t really care if I sell it or not” remark. I assume now he still doesn’t care if he sells it, but at a lower price. According to Zillow, the property was originally listed in July 2014 (see “22 July 2014: Enos Property on Clary Lake for sale“) and was just taken off the market a few months ago. It was relisted at the lower price just a few days ago. I wish Mr. Enos all the luck selling his property.
Somehow in the process of changing our treasurer this summer, I ended up with the (dwindling) stock of Clary Lake Sweatshirts. These are now living in a laundry basket in my back hall which was already pretty tight for space. These have been offered for sale at our Annual meetings for the last half a dozen years, for $15. I’m now offering them for sale here on the website for the same price plus $10 to cover shipping and handling for a total of $25. I’ve set up a page for the purpose with a form to fill out with name and address information which uses Paypal for payments. You can use your Paypal account or a credit card.
